AFL COACHES’ VOTES – ROUND 16

Despite a second consecutive game without a vote from the AFL coaches, Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe sits atop the AFL Coaches’ Champion Player of the Year leaderboard with a commanding 25-vote lead.

Sydney’s Dan Hannebery remains in second position, despite not polling a vote in the Swans’ dramatic loss to Hawthorn on Saturday night.

North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein further enhanced his reputation as the best ruckman of 2015 with a perfect 10 for his best-on-ground performance against Essendon on Friday night. The big man has jumped up into third position on the leaderboard, edging ahead of Andrew Gaff, Scott Pendlebury and David Armitage.

Melbourne power forward Jesse Hogan was given the first 10-voter of his career, thanks to a four-goal haul in a match in which just 12 goals were kicked.

Geelong’s Josh Caddy, Greater Western Sydney’s Devon Smith, West Coast’s Mark Le Cras were others to receive 10 votes, while Adelaide’s Scott Thompson – who was awarded the Phil Walsh Medal for best-on-ground in the South Australian showdown – was also given top marks from the coaches.

See all the votes from all the games below and head to the AFL Coaches’ Association website for all their latest.
