TeamUp ambassadors Nathan Jones and Brian Lake are set to join the Mother’s Day Classic this Sunday, to encourage Victorians to get moving while raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

The duo is set to join thousands of Victorians in the annual event at the Tan track at Alexandra Gardens, as part of the Players’ Association’s partnership with TeamUp.

Jones and Lake will be appearing on behalf of TeamUp – a free app available on iPhone, android and Facebook, that allows users to connect with others in their area who are looking to exercise.

TeamUp will have a marquee set up in Alexandra Gardens featuring fun, interactive games for participants and their families and friends.

The event will kick off at 6am, this Sunday, May 11, and will go through to midday.

The TeamUp app, which can be downloaded here, allows users to connect with other people in their area who are looking for social exercise partners.

The app helps Victorians connect with others interested in running, walking, and hundreds of other sports and activities and offers ongoing training opportunities, once-off social sports, and everything in-between.

Participants could win TeamUp prize packs and the chance to team up with pro AFL players, including Dan Jackson.

Make sure you download the TeamUp app and like the Facebook page for your chance to TeamUp with Dan Jackson.

TeamUp will also have a presence at the Mother’s Day Classic in Geelong.
