Alyce Parker has claimed her first AFLW MVP of the Week Award after a stellar performance for the GWS Giants on Sunday.
The Giants trumped the Hawks in a one-point thriller over the weekend, securing the win in the last four seconds of the match.
Parker led the Giants’ midfield throughout the tight contest, her clean ball movements providing scoring opportunities for the team to capitalise on. The gun midfielder contributed seven score involvements for the Giants, proving instrumental to the final scoreboard.
Parker finished the match with a game-high 30 disposals, 18 contested possessions, and 11 clearances.
The other AFLW MVP of the Week nominees for Round 8 were Jasmine Garner (North Melbourne) and Olivia Purcell (Melbourne).
