Adelaide Crows star skipper Chelsea Randall has taken home the AFLW MVP of the Week for Round 6, presented by Snaffle.
The Crows took on Port Adelaide in the first ever AFLW Showdown, winning by a 60-point margin and leaving their cross-town rivals goalless for all four quarters. The experienced skipper dominated at Adelaide Oval, opening the scoring with the first two goals of the match. Randall finished the game with three goals total, 27 disposals (14 contested possessions), and seven clearances.
The captain’s outstanding performance also saw her make history on Friday, taking home the inaugural AFLW Showdown medal for best on ground.
The other AFLW MVP of the Week Nominations for Round 6 were Nina Morrison (Geelong) and Ashleigh Riddell (North Melbourne).
